Wet molding
For the production of wet pressed parts, 2-part molds, stamp and die, as well as a press with the appropriate pressing pressure are necessary. The reinforcing fibres are inserted dry, the resin is poured on top and the mold is closed. The part geometry is limited, and all parts must also be mechanically reworked. This process is mainly used in container construction.
